We are an Online retail company located in Chatsworth, CA by the name of YoungLA. We have a robust presence selling on Amazon, as well as our own Shopify store, youngla.com We produce multiple brands in addition to YoungLA and we are looking for a stellar Customer Service Representative to join our growing team!

The best candidates will embody professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude. We are in a very exciting growth phase and the selected candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company.

Candidate's main duties will be:

  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Manage many incoming emails and calls
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges
  • Printing labels and working with our warehouse team to assure orders meet all of the required shipment deadlines

Required Skills

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CRM systems (Gorgias)
  • Past experience with e-commerce
  • Experience with Shopify, Amazon and Shipstation
  • customer service experience of picking up calls and replying to emails

This is a full-time position for around 40+ hrs /week.
