Where It All Started

2014, Los Angeles

YoungLA was founded in Los Angeles in 2014 by brothers Garry and Robby Chopra, driven by a shared passion for fitness, entrepreneurship, and building something of their own.

What began with a simple idea—to create stylish, high-quality apparel that fit the modern athlete without the premium price tag—quickly grew into something much bigger. The brand was built on the belief that confidence starts with how you feel in what you wear, and that great apparel should be accessible to everyone pursuing their ambitions.

In 2022, that vision expanded with the launch of YoungLA for Her, bringing the same commitment to quality, style, and performance to women around the world.

Today, YoungLA has grown far beyond apparel. We're a global fitness and lifestyle brand reaching millions through our products, athletes, creators, retail experiences, and a community united by ambition, self-expression, and the drive to become better every day.

We don't believe in creating products simply to fill shelves or follow trends. Instead, we focus on developing limited collections that feel unique, fit exceptionally well, and become staples our community is proud to wear.

Our philosophy has remained the same since day one: premium design shouldn't come with a premium price tag. We believe exceptional quality should be accessible, and we never compromise the customer experience in pursuit of higher margins.

If we wouldn't wear it ourselves, we won't put the YoungLA name on it.

Launched in August 2022, YoungLA For Her was created to redefine what women expect from an activewear brand.

While backed by the scale and momentum of YoungLA, For Her has developed its own distinct identity. It's a brand built for women who want performance without sacrificing style, and confidence without compromise.

What makes YoungLA For Her different is the emotional connection we've built with our community. Every product drop, campaign, event, and piece of content is designed to inspire confidence, celebrate individuality, and create excitement far beyond the product itself. Our customers don't simply wear the brand, they actively engage with it, champion it, and help shape where it goes next.

Since launching, YoungLA For Her has become one of the fastest-growing areas of the business. But we're still at the beginning.
