If you're tall and especially tall and thick... definitely SIZE UP. I could imagine that this set fits true to size if you are not thick but if you have hips the shorts will indeed ride up. I'm 5'7 and I ordered a medium because that's my usual size but I wish I sized up on the shorts!!! But overall this set is so cute!!!! If you're considering buying it, you absolutely should just size up in the shorts for comfort and durability!
